The Technology and Innovation Support Centre (CATI) at the École Nationale Supérieure de Management (ENSM) is an organisation dedicated to promoting technology, innovation and intellectual property within the institution.
01 / Missions
Our remit
CATI supports students, academic staff, researchers and project leaders in identifying, protecting and commercialising their innovations and research findings.
It also acts as a liaison between ENSM and stakeholders in the innovation and intellectual property ecosystem.

Promote a culture of innovation and intellectual property within ENSM;

Raise awareness and provide information to students, faculty members and project leaders on intellectual property protection mechanisms;

Guide and support project leaders in identifying their innovations and conducting prior art searches;

Assist project leaders with procedures relating to patents, trademarks and industrial designs;

Contribute to the protection and valorisation of research results and innovations;

Facilitate access to experts and specialised organisations, particularly the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI);

Promote the integration of intellectual property considerations into innovative and entrepreneurial projects.

Our activities

CATI’s activities focus primarily on raising awareness, providing information, delivering training and offering support in the fields of technology, innovation and intellectual property.

The Centre implements initiatives aimed at fostering a culture of innovation and intellectual property, strengthening the skills of project leaders and promoting synergies with stakeholders in the ecosystem.

CATI also supports project leaders in identifying innovations, conducting prior art searches, preparing applications for protection and referring them to the relevant organisations, whilst contributing to the commercialisation of research results and innovations developed within ENSM.

Within the ENSM ecosystem
CATI supports project leaders through a process ranging from raising awareness and identifying innovation to conducting prior art searches, protection and commercialisation: Raise awareness → Identify → Research → Protect → Commercialise.
It works in tandem with ENSM’s CDE, which focuses on entrepreneurship and supporting project leaders, and the ENSM Incubator, dedicated to the maturation and development of entrepreneurial projects.
In this context, the CATI collaborates in particular with INAPI – the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property – to guide and support project leaders through the processes relating to trade marks and patents, particularly with regard to prior art searches and protection. Project leaders can access INAPI’s digital resources to carry out preliminary searches on existing industrial property rights:
