Quality assurance has now become a top priority in the Algerian higher education sector. Indeed, the adoption of the LMD system (Bachelor-Master-PhD) has made quality an essential component of it, in order to facilitate the comparability of degree and student mobility. It also represents a necessary step towards the internationalization of higher education.
Like all higher education institutions in Algeria, the ENSM has been engaged in quality assurance since 2017 through self-assessment operations, according to the National Quality Assurance Framework. These operations have involved representatives from all categories of the academic community, who have demonstrated genuine determination and commitment. Furthermore, the institutional project, which represents the logical continuation of the self-assessment process, has been developed and updated. This defines the school’s strategy and reaffirms its commitment to quality.
The Quality Assurance Unit, reporting directly to the school’s top management, is fully integrated into the school’s governance structure and it actively participates in the decision-making while ensuring the establishment of a sustainable culture of quality.
The ENSM’s main strength lies in the fact that it is a management school offering a Master’s program in Quality Management. Moreover, Quality Management is a core module shared by all specializations, meaning that quality is both taught and practiced throughout the institution.
