CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

As part of a University Research Training Project (PRFU 2023), we are launching a call for contributions for a collective book entitled:

1. General Background

Energy transition has become a global imperative in response to the challenges of climate change, the depletion of fossil resources, and the need for more inclusive and sustainable development. In emerging and developing countries, this transition represents both a constraint—due to adaptation requirements—and an opportunity, fostering innovation, value creation, and the emergence of new economic models.

In this context, green entrepreneurship, the circular economy, renewable energy, sustainable resource management, and the new professions arising from these dynamics constitute essential levers for enhancing competitiveness, employability, resilience, and territorial sustainability.

This collective volume aims to bring together theoretical, empirical, and comparative contributions addressing the interactions between energy transition, entrepreneurial dynamism, and employability perspectives, with a particular focus on adaptation strategies, innovation, public policies, and sectoral experiences.

2. Themes

Proposals may address one or more of the following areas:

Axis 1: Energy Transition, Public Policies, and Governance

• Evaluation of national energy transition strategies
• Role of local authorities in the adoption of renewable energy
• Regulatory frameworks, green finance, and public incentives

Axis 2: Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Green Economy

• Green entrepreneurship and sustainable business models
• Technological and social innovations related to energy transition
• Start-ups, incubators, and green innovation ecosystems
• Role of digital technologies in energy transition

Axis 3: Energy Transition and Employability

• Emerging jobs in the energy transition sector
• Green skills, education, reskilling, and labor market adaptation
• Socio-economic impacts of energy transition on employment
• Sectoral studies: construction, transport, agriculture, industry, ICT, etc.

Axis 4: Sustainable Development, Resilience, and Inclusion

• Sustainable and resilient territorial models
• Social inclusion, energy justice, and territorial equity
• CSR approaches and organizational carbon footprint

3. Submission Guidelines

3.1. Expected Proposals

Authors are invited to submit a complete proposal for their chapter including:

• Title, Full Name, Affiliation, Email
• Abstract (300–400 words) (an English abstract is required if the paper is written in another language) with up to five keywords
• Full paper (12 to 20 pages)

3.2. Final Manuscript

Accepted chapters must be original contributions:

• Length: 25,000 to 35,000 characters (including spaces) or 12–20 pages
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12
• Line spacing: 1.5
• References formatted according to APA 7 standards
